our life as a Christian is:

1. Our response to the call of the gospel to a new life. 

    a. This new life we find only in Christ.

    b. We go to the example of Christians in the first century and become Christians just as they did.

    c. Doing exactly what they did, will cause the Lord to add us to the same church that these were.

        Acts 2:47

 2. In Christ we are a new creation with old things of the past forgiven and we walk in newness of life.

 3. In Christ there is rest from a sin ridden life and a renewed mind to enable us to enjoy this new life.

 4. What a great joy can be ours to be led by the Holy Spirit and the Holy Word of God.

 5. Being a Christian is a very personal matter between the individual and God. "It is no longer I who live, but 

     Christ lives in me."  (Paul the apostle)
