     Longfellow wrote the following lines:

Though the mills of God grind slowly,

                                                                 Yet they grind exceedingly small:

Though with patience He stands waiting,

                                                                   With exactness He grinds all.

The apostle Paul wrote, "Be not deceived. God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. He that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption: but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap everlasting life." Galatians 6:7-8 - Could it be that Longfellow got his inspiration by having read this statement written by Paul?
