"THE VALOR OF THE APOSTLE PETER" - ACTS 5:29-32

| | Comments (0)

The apostles had been released from prison by an angel.

The high priest had put them in prison because

They were preaching Christ and the many wonderful miracles

He had done through the hands of the apostles.

When the high priests found that the apostles

Were free, they commanded them to cease

                            Preaching Christ to the people.

Here is the reply of Peter and the other

                                       Apostles to their command.

But Peter and the other apostles answered and said,

"We ought to obey God rather than man.

The God of our fathers raised up Jesus whom

You murdered by hanging on a tree.

Him God has exhalted to His right hand to be

Prince and Saviour, and to give repentance to Israel

And forgivness of sins. And we are His witnesses

To these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit

Whom  God has given  to those WHO OBEY HIM."

                                                    (Acts 5: 29-32)

Let us remember; we are responsible even now to God and not to man.
