          THE NEED OF A ONE ANOTHER ATTITUDE

    One of the many teachings of Jesus as He taught

His disciples was, "Do unto others as you would have

them do unto you." If this were followed in our world, just 

think how different our world would be. 

   There would be very few broken homes. Parents

and children would follow this rule in their

daily relations. Husbands and wives would take

this rule into consideration.

   Even rulers of nations would never engage in 

war for they would think of the terrible suffering

 war cause. They, themselves, would not like

to be among those who suffer. This would result in

the solution of any problem between nations. All

problems would be solved peacefully.

   It has been said, "A better world begins with me.''

This is accomplished when one surrenders to the

will of God, by believing that Christ is the Son of

God, by turning from sin,  sincerely repenting, and

confessing his belief in Christ. Then, he may be baptized

in the name of Christ for the forgivness of his sins.

This is the point when one belongs to Christ, and as

the apostle Paul wrote, "It is no longer I who live, but

Christ who lives in me."

   We live in a wonderful world, but how different

it would be if all lived by, "The Golden Rule."
