REPENTANCE
The Word of God (the Bible) reminds us that
God is not willing that any should perish, but
that all men everywhere should repent.
The turning away from sin is not repentance.
A person quits sinning and turns to God as
a result of repentance.
Repentance of the sinner takes place when
he comes to fully appreciate the love of God.
As a result of understanding this love, the
person wants to respond to, and obey the
terms of the Gospel and receive the forgivness
given by God.
It is my prayer that men everywhere will come to
God by accepting His grace and mercy. Byrl Brockman
BAD CHOICES IN ONE'S YOUTH
Soloman the wise man in the Old Testament,
advises one to remember his creator in the
days of youth.
When one is taught by godly parents, that God
does exist, and makes choices of God's will,
latter life bring good things.
When families live according to the standards
of the world, the children will make choices that
later in life will bring untold sorrow and stress.
The greatest blessing that parents can give their
children, is to bring them up in a Christian home.
There is a statement made by the apostle Paul;
"Be not deceived, God is not mocked, for what-
soever a man sows, that shall he also reap."
God, give us young people who dare to do
do your will. Give us parents who strive to
help their children to grow into adulthood
prefering to live in Your will instead of
letting peerpressure destroy their charac-

TRANSFORMATION
It has been said that one becomes like
the person that he admires and has great
respect for. Paul the apostle, speaks of a transformation
that takes place when one is committed to the
Christ. "But we with unveiled face beholding
the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the
image from glory to glory, even as from the
Lord the Spirit."
Inasmuch as all have sinned and fallen short
of the glory of God, there is and must be a
change or a transformation in one's life in order to
have a right relation with Almighty God. When
this takes place, then as the scriptures teach,
"we become partners of the divine nature."
How wonderful it is to know that all of us who
want this transformation can have it by obeying the
Gospel of Christ. Let your belief and trust in Jesus
lead you to repent of your sins, confess your belief
that He is the Son of God, obey His command to
be buried in the waters of baptism for the forgiveness
of your sins. At this point you become a servant of
Jesus and the transformation becomes a reality.
Then you study His Word (the Bible) and faithfully
let His Spirit direct your life until death and then,
go to heaven to live eternaly with God.
DO IT TODAY WHILE YOU ARE STILL ALIVE!!!
