LIGHT ENABLES A PERSON TO SEE
OBJECTS CLEARLY.
The apostle Paul writes in Ephesians 4:13
"But all things when they are reproved
are made manifest by the light; for everything
that is made manifest is light."
Ignorance is called darkness. "The way of
the wicked is darkness: They know not
at what they stumble." (Prov. 1:19)
It is a fact that most of the revolting sins are
commited during the hours of darkness
and in secret and hidden places.
How amazing, that the grace of God
provides mankind a means of not being
confined to the darkness of sin. He sent
Jesus to deliver us from the slavery of sin.
1 John 1:5 says, "In Him is no darkness at
all. "
In Colosians 1:13 Paul states that a Christian
is delivered from the power of darkness,
and put into the kingdom of God's dear Son.
This takes place when the sinner, upon hearing
that Jesus is the Son of God, puts his trust in Him,
and repents of his sins. He then confesses his
faith in Jesus. and obeys the command to be
baptized in the name of Jesus in order for God
to forgive the sinner's sins. Read Acts 2.
Friend, don't continue to live in darkness.
Experience the new birth, and become
a child of God and walk in the light.
CHRIST, MAN"S REDEEMER
Paul, the apostle, declared that all have sinned
and come short of the glory of God. Therefore, man needs
a means whereby he can be at peace with God.
The Gospel of Christ is the means to receive
that good news. John 3:16 declares that in His love
and concern for lost man, God sent His beloved SON
to redeem us.
Since man is deceived and commits sin, there is a
way to have fellowship with God. Again we remind
ourselfves that JESUS is that way. We go back to the
beginning of the creation of the church after the first Pentecost.
This event happened after JESUS arose from the grave.
Read Chapter 2 of Acts to find this event. While reading this
chapter, you will observe that the Jews who killed Jesus
came to realize that they had commited many sins.
Peter's sermon caused them to ask, "Men and brethren, what
can we do to be saved?
Peter replied,"Repent and be baptized in the name of
Jesus for your forgivness of sins, and you will receive
the gift of the Holy Spirit in your life to guide and protect
you. Three thousand were baptized and united with
the Lord's church, at that time.
The Lord's plan has not changed. Why not let
it change you! YOU will be a better person!
Let the LORD change Y O U, and become a CHRISTIAN!!!!
