You are invited to a religiious service where the
Cross of Christ is more than an ornament.
The Cross has real signifiicance only in full
obedience to Christ's will. Notice how Paul,
the apostle of Christ, viewed the Cross and how
it affected his living; "God forbid that I
should glory, save in the Cross of our Lord
Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified
unto me and I unto the world. (Galatians
6:14). One truly bears the cross, when he or
she obeys the Gospel and lives only to honor God.
We invite you to attend a church of Christ in your area.
DON"T BE BLIND
Jesus said, "Every plant, My Heavenly Father
hath not planted shall be rooted up. Let
them alone; they are blind leaders of the
blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both
shall fall in the ditch." Matt.15:13, 14.
It may be very hard to overcome prejudice
that comes from loyalty to the religion
of family and friends, but you have nothing
to lose in throwing away the blindfold of
sectarian doctrines, and just obeying the
gospel of Christ! Jesus said,"Blessed
are your eyes for they see."
If we have a real regard for truth in spiritual
matters we appreciate Jesus' promise
as we read and meditate on John chapter 17.
May God give us a tender heart, that will
cause us always search for His truth.

ARE YOU INTERESTED?
Would you like a church which has
a Biible name?
A church organized by the pattern
shown in the New Testament?
A church without human amusements
to draw crowds?
A church supported by the free will
offering of its members?
A church where nothing is taught
but the Bible?
A church that teaches its members to
live in keeping with the principles
taught by its founder Jesus Christ?
A church that looks more to the
adornment of its members in holy
living than to the place of meeting?
A church that observes ordinances of
the New Testament regularly, con-
tinuing steadfastly in the Apostles' doc-
trine and fellowship, in breaking bread,
(paticipate in observance of the Lord's
Supper) and in prayer?
If your answer is yes to these questions, you
will want to go to the book of "Acts of the
Apostles" in the New Testament and be obedient
to what Peter answered when the convicted
sinner's asked the question, "What shall we do?"
Read Acts 2:38 and do what the people did then,
and the Lord will add you to His church as he
did in the first century. Jesus did not start a
denomination, but he built His Church!
Romans 16;16.
Denominations with their different teachings
exist without God's approvial.--Byrl Brockman
